Day 2 - Be Alert

To speak of everything,
Is to speak of more than we can measure;
More than we can imagine;
More than we can know.

And whatever our plans and expectations
For the days and months that lie ahead,
The God of all things
Can never be contained by these alone.
There is no task or situation,
Where God's presence might not be found.

So take on the tasks of each emerging day,
Sustained by all that faith has made familiar,
But open to new discoveries of God's purpose,
God's presence;
God's nature;
God's calling;
God's hand at work in your work.
