“Working it Through”

A full-colour booklet of six reflections for working people in Holy Week. Each day includes a short scripture reading, reflection and prayer. Each day the working life of one of the characters in the Holy Week story is explored, with practical connections to the working lives of today’s Christians. Putting Faith to Work - Six Point Plan

ICF is delighted to announce its latest New Era publication by ICF Chair Revd Carol Williams. Described as a resource for all who are seeking to work out the meaning of the Christian faith in their daily lives, an initial copy has been sent free to all existing ICF members. Further copies are available to members and non-members - Price £2, post paid.

 

Rogationtide

Complete service, including all work as well as farming.  Also separate prayers for inclusion within an existing service. The prayers combine the more hopeful affirmation of what is good in many types of work, as well as social justice issues and ‘sharp edge’ prayers  about what really affects people in various occupations.

Industrial Sunday (Sunday before May 1st)

Originally an occasion (started by ICF) when large unions and employers came together to affirm their commitment to God in the search for social justice, this service has been completely revised by ICF for smaller local employers and employees to show their common Christian commitment in creating wealth and stability, and mutual respect for the good of all, as well as social justice.

Complete service, and also separate prayers for inclusion within an existing service.
