5. Be Honest

Admit your mistakes and be honest with your time; always be truthful in what you say, even if at times your honesty is not popular. While not going out of your way to criticise, gain a reputation for being consistent in your words and deeds. Don't let your views and responses change depending on who is in the room. Be honest in how you use your employer's resources; be honest in your dealings with customers, clients and colleagues.
